- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of ecosystem services. It states that ecosystem services sustain human life processes and conditions. Ecosystem services includes services to nature such as air and water purification, soil fertility renewal, pest control and climate regulation. It emphasizes man's ignorance on the importance of ecosystem services and the effect of its loss as one of the reasons why ecosystem services are neglected. It also offers suggestions in which laws could provide support and create market for ecosystem services.
