- Abstract
The aim of this study was to influence the treatment of various types of plasma on the surface characteristics of a polyurethane with siloxane sequences. The study used a polyurethane based on polycaprolactone (PCL), polybutylene adipate diol (PBA), 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), 1,4-butane diol (BD) and polydimethylsiloxane diol (PDMS), in the PCL ratio -PBA / MDI / BD-PDMS of 3/4/1. Hydrophilicity and surface roughness were analyzed before and after treatment. Thus, the surface treated in plasma shows changes in the direction of increased hydrophilicity and differences in roughness. It is noted that the treatment in different types of plasma produces changes in the surface characteristics of the polyurethane film, so that the material can be used in biomedical applications.
