- Abstract
The article offers information on the effects of undocumented migration and possible remedies discussed at the Intergovernmental Committee for Migration (ICM) seminar held in Geneva, Switzerland on April 11-15, 1983. It states that various aspects regarding the effect of irregular migration including demographic, social, and psychological effect were discussed in the seminar. It mentions that irregular migration issues must be sought in bilateral cooperation between sending and receiving countries. It adds that preventive measures must be implemented to reduce and eliminate illegal manpower trafficking.
