- Abstract
The article discusses a single-blinded intraindividual controlled clinical trial in drug-free microneedles in the treatment of keloids. The keloid accessible to the patient was allocated to the microneedle treatment arm, while the other was allocated to noninterventional control arm. The study suggests that continuous application of drug-free microneedles significantly reduced the volume and associated pain and itch of keloids.
