- Abstract
The article discusses certain matters that employers need to examine during hiring of a Japanese workforce along with the international labor and employment policy. Topics discussed include handling of wage and discrimination claims in the absence of class action lawsuits, the changing role of unions in Japan and impact of social media in the work force. It also discusses ways in which employers of Japan are dealing with social media and privacy issues in the workplace.
