- Abstract
An essay is presented concerning U.S. congressional investigation of former U.S. attorney general and former U.S. Supreme Court associate justice Tom C. Clark during his first few years as a justice of the Court. The article discusses efforts by Congress to compel Clark's testimony concerning his actions as attorney general, Clark's refusal on the basis of the separation of powers, and whether Congress could require a sitting Supreme Court justice to testify.
