- Abstract
The article reports on the diagnosis of patient who was a 55-year-old female with well-differentiated follicular thyroid cancer with minimal vascular invasion. Radioiodine treatment of differentiated thyroid cancer is generally the treatment of choice and during the procedure a fixed amount of radioactivity in the range 3.7–7.4 GBq is used depending on severity.
