- Abstract
The article discusses the teaching of nanotechnology in schools stating that the technology will create deep impacts on the nation's global competition. It mentions the spheres of nanotechnology that needs to be researched with developing diagrams and illustrations and its comparison to traditional-sized objects and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). It mentions the current uses of Nanotech in Ink jet printers, Antilock braking systems and additives to plastics. It includes the Numerical Aerospace Simulation Systems Division (NAS) of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center on conducting research Nanotechnology. Contact nano-scientists and nano-engineers for discussing the current happenings is suggested to the teachers.
