- Abstract
The article presents research on a state-and-transition model for mammals in tropical savannas in northern Australia in order to monitor ecological changes and track mammalian declines. Topics include a conceptual model of assemblage structure and regulatory factors in the Kimberley region; the correlation of rainfall with mammal population survey results; and regional stability in savanna mammal assemblage composition.
