- Abstract
The article discusses a study on T-type calcium or low voltage activated channel expression in cultured human neuroblastoma cells (SH-SY5Y). It reveals that the T-type calcium distribution in SH-SY5Y was predominated by the subtype Ca 3.1. Methods in the study involved cell culture of SH-SY5Y, detection of mRNA expression in SH-SY5Y using real-time PCS analysis, and detection of protein in SH-SY5Y using western blot analysis.
