- Abstract
The article discusses the Carolyn Gray LeMaster Arkansas Jewish History Collection at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies at the Arkansas Studies Institute. The collection contains files of stories of families, individuals, and historical information related to the overall Jewish community. The author reflects on the role of Jews in the cultural, social, and political life of Arkansas and primary and secondary material related to Jews in business. Other topics include the German rabbi Benjamin Hirsch Auerbach, photographic negatives from the family of Sam and Rebecca Narinsky, and businessman Abraham Block.
