Police Surveilance Cameras Installed in China.
- Abstract
The article discusses the plan to install police surveillance cameras along the streets in Southern China. The scheme will be directed by an American-financed company computer software to automatically observe unusual activity and to recognize police suspects. The residency cards fitted with powerful computer chips will be given to 12 million people for the enforcement of the plan, as well as for the one child policy of the government. The chip is composed of the name, address, work history, educational background and other important information about the populace.
