- Abstract
The article argues that intermediate scrutiny should guide federal courts' analysis of these often-difficult to the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment questions. Topics discussed include issues preceding any First Amendment analysis; analytical approaches of lower federal courts use to evaluate challenges to student government campaign regulations; and use of intermediate scrutiny to better balance postsecondary students' First Amendment interests.
