- Abstract
The article reports the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case 'McCullen v. Coakley' in which the court held Massachusetts' fixed abortion buffer zones, established via amendments to that state laws violated the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution Topics discussed include impact of the decision on buffer zone laws across the country, and reaction of state and local governments that placed an injunction on or eliminated entirely their buffer zone laws on the decision.
