- Abstract
The article discusses the response by the international community on the Fukushima Daiichi accident in Japan in 2011. Topics include the need for greater intentionality and vigilance with regards to the existing accepted principles, the institutional structures that are responsible for preventing accidents, minimizing risks, and safety, and the principles crucial to the success of nuclear liability regime.
