- Abstract
The article explores the importance of considering Hulu LLC's online streaming model in the U.S. music industry in response to the threats of illegal music downloading. It provides an overview of the music industry's failure in dealing with illegal piracy focusing on its failed methods of piracy control and illegal downloading alternative. It also outlines the argument that the industry should consider and follow the Hulu model through partnership with various intermediaries for free music.
