- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 10-year-old male Manx cat which underwent osseous surgery to augment treatment of chronic periodontitis of its canine teeth. The diagnostic plan for the patient included anesthetic laboratory tests, general anesthesia and radiographic evaluation. An ultrasonic scaler was used to scale its teeth, while a #11 scalpel blade was used to make circumferential horizontal releasing incisions.
