- Abstract
This article aims to study the tourist co-creation behavior and the consumers' wellbeing associated to co-creation. Results from two exploratory qualitative studies identify two types of tourist co-creation behavior : tourist participation behavior which is necessary for the success of the co-creation process ; and tourist citizenship behavior which is, however, not necessary for the success of this process. Finally, different dimensions of consumers' wellbeing have been identified - before, during and after the co-creation process - like satisfaction, happiness, pleasure, assurance and pride.
