- Abstract
The article focuses on the Bactrian camel found in the cold deserts of several countries and in the Ladakh region in India. It states that the camels serve as tourists attraction thus providing income to the villagers in Nubra valley. It mentions that camels graze on the lands comprising mainly of seabuckthorn as the flora. It informs about the main diseases that camels suffer from being corneal injuries and neonatal mortality.
