- Abstract
The article focuses on a research regarding endophytic fungi, exploring its potential to possess pathway genes for plant secondary metabolites. Found inside plant tissues as asymptomatic mutualists, endophytic fungi have been recognized as a vital and novel source of bioactive compounds producing a number of important secondary metabolites. An overview of the study is provided.
