- Title
Nanodiamonds might prevent tooth loss after root canals.
- Abstract
The article presents the results of a study conducted by researchers from the School of Dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) about the potential role of nanodiamonds in preventing tooth loss after root canals. The study showed that the use of nanodiamonds to fortify a material used in the root canal procedure could help improve patient outcomes. The researchers also found that nanodiamond-enhanced gutta percha could be used as dental fillers.
