- Abstract
The article discusses various steps involved in teaching science with an inquiry-based approach. The first step involves developing questions that require learners to reason about variables, see cause-effect relationships, and apply their understanding. The next step involves including of materials that students need to promote decision-making and conversation within laboratory groups. Thereafter, teachers should encourage students to develop their own ways of presenting their results.
