- Abstract
The article provides information on the research and planning of a program made by science teachers to teach students about seeds and their conditions for growth and about plants, their parts, as well as their conditions for growth. They read and discussed "Ready, Set, Science," a report from the National Council in the U.S. wherein the authors argue that children are more susceptible of acquiring in scientific reasoning, discourses, and practices compared from previously thought. Also presented are the strands of scientific proficiency such as understanding the nature and development of scientific knowledge.
