The article focuses on the re-emergence of Great Britain's Arctic Policy for the Northwest Passage and the Northern Sea Route, which could reduce the cost and time of shipments and voyages. Topics include the questions concerning the use and governance of the Arctic region, the strict ecological governance of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (LOSC), and the vision of the British government for its approach to the region.
