- Abstract
The article reports on the launch of consultation facilities by the Patent Office, to provide technologies and products for the protection of infringement on Intellectual Property Rights in the European Union (EU). It will help to increase trade, commerce and greater cross border investment through out the EU. The Patent Office continues its struggle to fight against Intellectual Property (IP) Crime. The crime has a serious economic effect in Great Britain and in various parts of the world. A four point action plan has been set out by the IP Crime Group and various proposals to combat this crime has been suggested by the EU.
