- Title
LESSONS FROM THE RISE OF LEGAL CONSERVATISM.
- Authors
Somin, Ilya
- Abstract
The article focuses on the lessons learned from the rise of legal conservatism. It discusses the analysis presented by author Steven Teles concerning conservatism in his book "The Rise of the Conservative Legal Movement," in which he claimed that effective institutionalization of legal change needs a demand for change by voters or interest groups and law practitioners who can create such change. It states that the general lesson from the movement is that conservative and libertarian legal activists need to learn more from their liberal counterparts.
