- Abstract
Objective: This article aims to present the results of surveys conducted in 2008 and 2020, along with a comparative analysis undertaken in 2021. It focuses on examining how factors affecting employee well-being have evolved and transformed over the years between these measurements. This objective is crucial for understanding the dynamic nature of workplace well-being and its determinants over time. Research Design and Methods: The research was methodically carried out through questionnaire interviews, encompassing a sample size of N=95. This methodological approach was chosen to enable a detailed and nuanced collection of data, offering in-depth insights into the perceptions and experiences of employees regarding their well-being in the workplace. Findings: The study's findings led to the development of recommendations for further improvement in employee well-being. These findings are instrumental in identifying trends and changes in employee well-being over the years, reflecting shifts in workplace practices, employee expectations, and organizational cultures. Implications and Recommendations: The authors recommend adopting a presumption-based approach to working with staff. This recommendation emphasizes the importance of involving employees in the development and implementation of well-being strategies, thereby fostering a more inclusive and participatory workplace culture. This approach is critical in creating solutions that are both effective and resonant with the staff 's needs and expectations. Contribution and Value Added: The study's significant contribution lies in its proposed set of factors that support building staff well-being. These factors, derived from comprehensive longitudinal research, add substantial value to both scientific understanding and practical application in the field of employee well-being. The research provides a framework for future studies and practical interventions aimed at enhancing employee well-being in diverse organizational contexts.
