The article looks at a Bradley Hospital study published in "Child Psychiatry and Human Development" which found that young children with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and co-occurring suicidal thoughts and behavior or posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are at increased risk for readmission. It mentions connection between suicidal ideation and poor long-term mental health outcomes among adolescents. It also mentions suicidal thinking and behavior on psychiatric conditions.
