- Abstract
The author reports on the markets which exist in Canada. Differences and similarities between the United States and Canada are discussed, such as one in five Canadians not speaking any English and Canada's high standard of living. Specific aspects regarding Canada which are discussed include its demographics, population growth and income. The way in which the Canadian market has been incorrectly viewed as homogeneous is discussed. Also mentioned in the article is the impact which the United States has on the economy in Canada, Canada's gross national product (GNP) and legislation regarding marketing in Canada.
