- Abstract
The article provides a historiography of arts under the Abu'l-Khairid dynasty in Uzbekistan and investigates the problem of attributions to the Shaybanid and Bukhara art historical classifications during the Cold War. It examines the associations between historical dynasty and the nation-state of Iran. An analysis of 16th-century arts of the Bukhara School originating in Transoxiana from the perspective of Persian-language manuscript production is presented.
