- Abstract
The objective of this work was to study the in vitro regeneration of tomato 'Alambra' F1 using explants apices, nodal segments, hypocotyls and cotyledons. The explants were inoculated in test tubes on MS medium setting and recultivate twice to the same media type and then to recultivate and regeneration induction medium containing MS medium supplemented with 1 mg L-1 kinetin. The experiment was a completely randomized design with four treatments and eight repetitions. After 30 days, the evaluations were conducted and buds with 1.5 cm from the apical segment and nodal explants were separately transferred to MS medium added with 1.0 mg L-1 NAA for rooting, where they stayed, too, for 30 days. The use of explants apical segments, via direct organogenesis, presents better responses for morphogenic regeneration in the formation of tomato seedlings 'Alambra' F1.
