- Abstract
The article discusses the disparities in research publications in physiotherapy and rehabilitation, especially in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs). It reports that challenges include lack of funding, research culture, infrastructure, language barriers, and prioritization of high-income countries. It highlights the need urgent action to address these barriers and calls for international physiotherapy journals to support research in LMICs, emphasizing the need for urgent action.
