- Abstract
Laser treatment is noninvasive, painless, and can be easily administered in primary care settings for a wide range of conditions. Lateral epicondylitis represent an overuse tendinopathy of wrist extensor, and limited evidence on the efficacy of different therapeutic modalities has been shown. The objective of the present review is to consider the recent laser therapy interventions for subjects affected by lateral epicondylitis compared with other physical or electrophysical modalities of treatment, taking into consideration the scientific benefits of the systematic reviews (SRs) and the need of implementation of the Shared decision making (SDM).
