- Title
Law Clerks Out of Context.
- Authors
Potter Jr., Parker B.
- Abstract
The article focuses on opinions on cases that discuss two categories of law-clerk activity that serve as source of evidence and go to court as litigant. It presents cases where law clerks were litigants and served as a guide to situations where litigation is seen as a productive option for a law clerk who believes that he was wronged. It cites a general rule that information acquired by law clerks in the course of their work as law clerks is inaccessible as evidence. It advises potential law-clerk plaintiffs that the courtroom is not a place of relief.
