- Abstract
The research results published in this paper are based on a case study using CAT1A and SOLID EDGE Software for shaft design and IBM Rational Software Architect for building UML architectures. Transposing the UML in C++ Programming language, we obtain the agent source which can be transformed in an import/export agent by a programmer, then the users could import the part with historic from one JDS to another. The goal of this study is to create the UML architectures for the CAT1A and SOLiD EDGE Software in order to improve the data transfer in a Virtual Enterprise.
