Mo-Im Kim Receives Prize at World Health Assembly.
- Abstract
The article presents the information that the 1994 Sasakawa Health Prize was awarded to former Mo-Im Kim, who was the former president of International Council of Nurses. The award was in recognition of her exceptional qualities and achievements in health development and primary health care in the Republic of Korea. As a member of the Canadian National Health Council and parliamentarian, Kim played a key role in translating the concept of primary health care into a concrete government policy that would use nurses as prime agents of deliver.
