- Abstract
The article focuses on the claim that William Faulkner's novel "Absolom, Absolom!" is an allegory of reading that constitutes a critique in which the possibility of reading is called into question. The dynamics of recall and their representation in the language used by Faulkner in the novel are explored. Details are given for the properties of the voice, the articulation of the remembering concept and mnemosis of "Absalom, Absalom!"
