- Abstract
The article presents developments in climate in the North America in 2011. The Air Resources Board (ARB) of California cleared up deliberation on regulations to set a cap-and-trade program for greenhouse gas (GHG). Canadian Environment Minister Peter Kent revealed that the country would withdraw formally from the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The Senate of Mexico voted to pass the General Law on Climate Change legislation.
