The Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC) introduced the triple dialogue as the new way of being church in Asia. This theological method helped shape the way the Asian Church engages with the cultures, religions and poor of Asia. This article examines how this method emerged at the very first FABC Plenary Assembly, how it developed over the years, and what it means for the Church in Asia today.
