Welfare after the Javan earthquake.
Abstract
The article reports on the efforts by the World Society for the Protection of Animals to help the earthquake-affected area in Java, Indonesia. To promote animal welfare, the Society has sent a disaster assessment and response team to the area following the calamity. The team will work with government officials and Indonesian organizations to develop and implement a plan that would bring immediate relief to affected animals.
