Efecto de la economía y el entorno en los residentes.

- Abstract
The study of the residents' attitudes is important for the management of tourism destinations. Tourism generates benefits and costs. The assessment of these impacts can depend on two elements: the concern for the local economy and the concern for the conservation of the natural environment. This paper reviews the two concerns and examines their impact on Ibiza residents. The interest of the study is the simultaneous analysis of how these two concerns affect resident attitudes. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares, finding that: people concerned about the economy have a higher appraisal of the economic benefits, people concerned about the environment have greater perception of the costs and the support to an increase in the number of tourists only depends on the general attitude.
