- Abstract
SPECT imaging is necessary to identify myocardial uptake of SP 99m sp Tc-PYP/DPD/HMDP. Technetium pyrophosphate nuclear scintigraphy for cardiac amyloidosis: Imaging at 1 vs 3 hours and planar vs SPECT/CT. The steps in Table 5 clarify that visual grading on planar and SPECT imaging is the primary method for diagnosis of ATTR cardiac amyloidosis.
