- Abstract
The article discusses archaeological research of the site of Teotihuacan, Mexico. Various aspects of the site are discussed, including its containment of enclaves made up of separate ethnic groups and the economic relationships between the different ethnic groups. The use of isotopes in research is discussed, including oxygen isotope ratios to analyze phosphates in teeth and bones and carbon and nitrogen isotope ratios to analyze bone collagen. The authors address the ancient civilization's interactions with foreign traders and artisans and the cultural and economic aspects of foreign traders.
