- Abstract
This article, first, makes a historical journey through the environment changes Colombian companies have been experiencing since the 90´s, a decade characterized by the development of neo-liberalism and its impact on the political, economic and social systems. Subsequently, it analyzes how the companies had to assume a new productive, effective and competitive role, and the consequences of this under priorities, efforts, requirements and performances performances terms. From such analysis, an outline of the human talent´s presence in the organizations is made, including the performance difficulties and an element called in this article "a new horizon", in which a new way to recognize the collaborators is discussed, understanding, in a different way, their contradictions, confusions, meanings and anguishes and also a new opportunity for the corporative growth which allows the achievement of the success factors and of the organization´s objectives from a real human development
