- Abstract
The article presents the case studies concerned with social security, community participation and the power structure during the government term 2000-2006 in Cape Town, South Africa. It presents the issue of security of the area in three points of view, economic, sociological and political, with giving an analysis of three security formulas. It discuses in detail the political changes that happened at municipal, provincial levels during the term and there influences on the above issues.
