- Abstract
The article examines on the consideration of parental attitude and teacher influence on college attendance in the U.S. The influence determines its relation to national merit scholarship tests. Teachers can affect the decision-making of a student which may discourage or encourage enrolling for college education. The study has also added the use of questionnaire in prediction studies of college success. It also involves the attitude of parents about their children going to college.
