- Abstract
The article focuses on the definition of an observation hive as an object of study in general science, biology, zoology and entomology courses in secondary schools and colleges in the U.S. The observation hive provides a comparatively simple method for the course of study. With this regard, the hives are composed of three distinct sections which includes the ordinary hive body that contains the broad frames, an ordinary ten-frame hive body that is used, fastened to the bottom board by means a metal strip at each corner, and the main hive body.
