The article focuses on a study regarding the determination of conductivity and heat generation of compounds made of polyethylene (PE) for polymers, and mentions the comparison of conductivity between conductive and pure polymers. Topics discussed include granulate of PE and carbon produced in a drum hoop mixer of textile firm J. Engelsmann AG, and the use of temperature as heat generation indicator.
