- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 68-year-old man with diabetes and end-stage renal failure underwent routine left phacoemulsification. The body of his intraocular lens (IOL) was in the anterior chamber (AC) whereas its haptics were in the capsular bag, causing total pupillary capture. This article discusses the uneventful phacoemulsification, underwent a dilated fundal examination, and subsequently developed pupil block.
