- Abstract
The article looks at postcoital contraception and its health effects on women. This method is applied to avoid unwanted pregnancy of women after having an unprotected coitus or to reverse possible contraceptive failure, which has been demonstrated through contraception products including ulipristal acetate, copper interuterine device (IUD), and levonorgestrel. Results of the study show that copper IUD is the best option for postcoital contraception on women.
